As its name implies The Lost Village of Dode is situated in arguably one of the quietest and remote locations in the busy South East. Hidden at the head of a valley tucked away in the North Downs of Kent, the Marriage Room comprises the only remaining building of a once thriving village deserted for over 650 years. Built of flint and oak some 900 years ago, Dode offers a magical and mystical setting for civil partnerships and civil marriage ceremonies. The floor is covered with straw and the lighting is provided by braziers and candles.
