The room was great - at the rear of the pub with it's own entrance. A big dance floor and tables round the edge - plenty of room for dancing and for all the Dj equipment. The room has recently been decorated. We were able to dress the tables ourselves and stick pictures up with blue tac. The bar stuff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. We had security provided by Saxon Security - a local company hired by the pub. They were great - friendly but firm! The buffet was plentiful and the food was hot - basic party food but a good variety and some veggie options. All in all - we were highly satisfied! Overall, we had a wonderful night!

The Railway Hotel is set in the Town of Buxton and offers a large function room, although there isn't parking on site, it has 3 Pay and Display car parks near by. As well as the function room, there is a public bar also, if guests feel they want to move into a quieter area. The venue is ideal for birthday celebrations the staff provide, lovely food at a reasonable fee and serve food in the bar.
