What types of event is The Ship suited to?

The Ship is suitable for a wide range of uses as a private hire venue.

To give you some idea about suitability, the following events have been or are planned to be held at The Ship:

• Birthday 60th for 70 guests in December 2016
• Birthday 50th for 60 guests in September 2016
• Birthday 30th for 100 guests in April 2015
• Birthday 40th for 80 guests in February 2015

Is there a bar at The Ship?

We understand that a cash bar is available at The Ship serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to hirers and their guests.

Is The Ship fully accessible?

Based on customer feedback, we believe that The Ship is only partially accessible to wheelchair users and the infirm. Usually this means that not all areas of the building are accessible, or there may be internal steps requiring assistance or ramps, for example. We would advise taking up any special requirements in this regard with the venue directly.
